The University of Virginia Department of Athletics is seeking Stats Crew Personnel to perform a variety of duties to assist in the compilations of statistics during intercollegiate events for the University of Virginia Department of Athletics.
Job duties include but are not limited to serving as the official statistician for designated NCAA events, assisting official stats crew as a spotter, preparing official participation reports, providing statistical information to broadcast talent and media, distribution of game day media credentials and providing in-game information over press box internal public address systems.
Employees in these positions should have flexibility to work afternoon, evening and weekend hours.
This is a wage position which is not eligible for leave or other benefits and is limited to 1500 hours of work in a year. For more information, refer to the Wage Employment link: .

Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience: Some working knowledge of the sport program to be supported
Licensure: None
Preferred qualifications:
* Strong organizational and customer service skills.
* Ability to communicate with athletics staff, officials and other event staff while working as part of a team.
* Some knowledge of the rules of various intercollegiate sports and NCAA rules and regulations associated with these sports.
* For some positions, experience with Genius Sports and/or The Automated Scorebook (TAS) is required.
