ATI is a subsidiary of Air Transport Services Group, Inc.Our great benefits, competitive pay, and exciting atmosphere are all key factors that help make ATI such a great place to work!Purpose: Working with all materials departments and all maintenance departments perform all aspects of company materials storage and logistics to support the company fleet. Job Functions:
- Ensure that all materials are properly tagged, packaged, and stored in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures contained in the most current revision of the ATI General Maintenance Manual
- Ensure that all company databases are being maintained with accurate and timely data entry, including shipping, receiving, issuing and turning in of parts and materials
- Coordinate with the Component Repairs team to ensure the timely and correct shipping of components for repair
- Ensure that all serviceable materials are kept segregated from all unserviceable materials wherever ATI materials are stored.
- Ensure proper packaging and handling of all materials is complied with for both stocking purposes and immediate usage, including any dangerous goods requirements
- Ensure materials being used by maintenance are correctly issued and turned in prior to further disposition being performed in the company computer system
- Oversee the receipt of all packages, checking for evidence of mishandling or shipping damage, and ensure the steps necessary to recover costs of damages are initiated with the vendor.
- Oversee and perform the loading and unloading of company materials in accordance with the company processes and procedures onto trucks and aircraft ensuring the continued airworthiness of the materials is maintained
- Possibility of limited travel.
- Support the AOG Materials Team by acting as an AOG buyer when the need arises
- Coordinate with the AOG, Purchasing and Inventory Control Materials Teams to move materials to maintain company reliability and aircraft serviceability
- Coordinate with the Purchasing Materials Team routine trucking requirements as necessary.
- Perform and maintain COMAT functions, including, but not limited to, movements, documents and document retention
- Become and remain Hazmat CAT6 certified
- Maintain the company calibrated tooling by monitoring expiry dates, writing repair orders, shipping, receiving to and from stations and maintaining proper documentation of calibrations in accordance with the current ATI GMM
- All other duties as assigned by ATI management.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to work in all climates and weather conditions.
- Must possess a current / valid State Drivers License.
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain a valid US passport.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers; stand, bend, and reach in order to maintain files; sit for extended periods of time; and comply with ATI attendance requirements.
- Must have computer skills in word, excel and the ability to learn new programs as they change within the company.
- Must be able to work any shift, weekends and holidays if the need arises.
- Proven ability to accept and accomplish addition responsibilities.
Preferred Job Skills:
- Previous forklift / lift-truck experience preferred.
- Warehouse experience preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Should have extensive background in the handling of aviation materials to include warehouse and inventory control functions.
- Prime data base experience is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard.
- Lift 30 pounds without assistance, climb stairs and ladders.
- Comply with ATI attendance requirements
