ABOUT THE ROLE Peloton is looking for a skilled and experienced Atlassian Cloud Administrator to join our team. This role is within the Enterprise Service Operations team as part of the broader Enterprise Technology organization and reports to the Manager, Atlassian Systems. As an Atlassian Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting our Atlassian Cloud suite of tools, including Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and other related plugins. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth operation, configuration, and customization of these tools to meet the needs of our organization. You will partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, drive efficient processes, and foster collaboration using Atlassian tools. YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Administer and configure the Atlassian suite of tools, primarily Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence
- Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and general system configuration
- In partnership with stakeholders, address business problems and provide scalable solutions using Atlassian products
- Identify areas of improvement within the Atlassian suite and perform analysis and review of current workflows, projects, permissions, and functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Atlassian tools, including performance, access, and functionality
- Create and update documentation on the configuration and administration of Atlassian products
- Build dashboards and reports to support business stakeholders
- Provide technical and operational support as well as conduct training for employees and new hires on the usage of Atlassian tools
- Stay informed about the latest features, updates, and trends in Atlassian tools and recommend improvements for their optimal usage
- Conduct regular audits and optimizations of Atlassian tool configurations, user access, and permission settings
- Maintain governance policies, security controls, and compliance standards related to Atlassian tools
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience working with Atlassian Cloud products, including administration, configuration, and support
- Experience customizing Jira projects with complex workflows, automations, and schema
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions
- Proficiency as a Jira Administrator, managing assets, custom fields, projects, workflows, configurations, permissions, automations, and schema
- Strong knowledge of Jira Service Management, including request types, forms, queues, SLAs, etc.
- Familiarity with Atlassian architecture, API, database tables, application logs, and email handlers
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of issues
- Excellent interpersonal soft skills and ability to build strong working relationships
- Understanding of business processes and how Atlassian tools can improve them
- Comfortable working in an evolving, dynamic, and Agile environment
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple requests across different platforms (Jira, Slack, email)
- Knowledge of SDLC, ITIL, and Agile frameworks is preferred
