Are you passionate about fitness and dedicated to providing excellent customer service? We are looking for a reliable Gym Attendant to help maintain a clean and safe workout environment and assist with various gym activities.
Summary of the position
Gym Attendants are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe workout environment and providing excellent customer service. You will also be responsible for setting up and tearing down rentals, such as volleyball, basketball, and pickleball.
Normal Shift: Varies 3:30pm- 10:30pm (Fri-Sun)
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure the fitness and gymnasiums areas are clean and well-maintained.
* Assist with member inquiries,
* Ensure guests adhere to department and facility policies
* Report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues to management.
* Assist fitness instructors and personal trainers with class setups and equipment needs.
* Foster a welcoming and motivating atmosphere for all members.
* Assist with fitness and athletic events as needed.
Qualifications or desired qualifications
* Must be at least 16 years of age.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings/mornings, weekends, and holidays.
* Ability to lift and/or move over 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
* Ability to perform work functions with minimal supervision.
