POSITION SUMMARY:The Wardrobe Attendant is responsible for issuing out uniforms to all uniformed employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:(These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position) Issues, de-issues or loans uniforms to company employees. Assigns fitting appointments for newly hired employees. Make appointments for new hires to be fitted into proper uniforms. Assists with measuring and fitting employees for uniforms when deemed necessary. Performs uniform inventory, both physical and manual. Discards unusable uniforms. Maintains the weekly dry cleaning and laundry lists. Lauders reusable uniforms in washer/dryer. Operates all machinery and computers associated with maintaining and tracking uniform garments. Operates machinery associated with alterations, repairs or make of garment. Assists other coworkers in performing tasks as a team player. Communicates with VP Human Resources any concerns or problems/difficulty with equipment or procedures. Helps in creating a positive employee experience when issuing out uniforms.
NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Attend seminars when needed.
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:(Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)High School Diploma or equivalent required.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.): Must obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Indiana Gaming Commission. Must successfully pass background check. Must successfully pass drug screening. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age. Must be customer service orientated. Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.
KNOWLEDGE OF: Must have operational knowledge of sewing machines, computer and calculator. Must be able to perform sewing repairs and minor alterations on uniform garments.
ABILITY TO: Must be able to carry objects weighing up to 10lbs. Must be able to maintain accuracy and speed during high volume periods. Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted during work.
