The primary purpose is to serve as an attorney-adviser in the Office of the Deputy General Counsel (Installations, Energy&Environment) (SAF/GCN) that is responsible for providing legal services pertaining to installations, energy, and environmental matters in support of the Air Force mission and operations worldwide. Directly responsible for providing legal and policy advice to the Secretariat and the Air Staff concerning installation law, including but not limited to: environmental planning, real and personal property acquisition, management, and disposal; enhanced use leasing; housing and utility privatization; military construction (MILCON) projects; base realignment and closure (BRAC); encroachment; strategic basing; community partnerships; transactional support; renewable and energy assurance projects; and legislative proposals.This position can close at any time.
