The main purpose of this role is to provide legal advice and represent clients in insurance defense litigation matters.Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of insurance defense files from inception to trial
- Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients
- Draft legal documents, pleadings, and motions
- Appear in court and represent clients at hearings and trials
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state
- 2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation
- Strong knowledge of insurance defense law and litigation procedures
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
