About the Role:
As a Finance Associate, you will play a pivotal role in advancing renewable energy projects and contributing to transformative legal solutions in the energy sector. This position is ideal for an attorney with a passion for renewable energy and a track record of success in complex transactions.
Candidate Profile:
- Education: JD from an ABA-approved law school with a strong academic background.
- Bar Admission: Licensed in Texas, New York, or another relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
- Experience: 3-5 years of substantive experience in renewable energy transactions.
- Expertise: Proficient in renewable energy project finance, tax credit transactions, and due diligence matters.
- Skills: Strong drafting and negotiation skills for complex transaction documents, including credit agreements and tax equity documents.
- Background: Previous experience at a large law firm is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal services in renewable energy project finance and tax credit transactions.
- Draft and negotiate a variety of complex transaction documents, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
