Cooley LLP has an opportunity available in the Debt Finance practice. Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of experience representing private equity sponsors in financing transactions. Ideal candidates will also have (i) a working knowledge of syndicated financing transactions and acquisition financing transactions; (ii) experience in closing transactions and (iii) familiarity with drafting documents in connection with financial transactions. Knowledge of Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, secured transactions, debt securities offerings, and general corporate law are also preferred. All candidates must have a JD or the equivalent and have demonstrated high academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school, have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and have a high level of attention to detail. EOE. The expected annual pay range for this position is $260,000-$365,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
