Associate Attorney - RemoteSmall, growing national plaintiffs' law firm practicing in the areas of civil rights, prisoner rights, criminal defense (federal and state), environmental and catastrophic personal injury matters currently seeking an Associate Attorney to join its stellar team!The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and have superior written and verbal communication skills and must be passionate about advocating for clients who have been wronged. Experience must include thorough research and drafting skills (motions, written discovery, etc.), ability to take and defend depositions, mediations, court appearances, and trial preparation and attendance (1st or 2nd chair trial experience preferred but not required). Bar membership to any state bar is required, but preferred in New York, New Jersey, Michigan, and/or Illinois.Firm's headquarters located in New York, NY but candidate may be based in any state and may work fully remote except for travel required for the position, including court appearances, client (potential client) meetings, depositions, mediations, and/or trial.Compensation is competitive based on location + bonuses based on value of recovered fees for client. #J-18808-Ljbffr
