Hearing Instrument Specialist). This role involves conducting comprehensive hearing evaluations and diagnostics, fitting and maintaining hearing aids, and providing tinnitus management.As part of a well-established team, the candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the practice's continued success in delivering exceptional hearing care services tailored to adult patients.Key Responsibilities
- Performing comprehensive diagnostic testing, including hearing evaluations and hearing aid fittings.
- Providing ongoing management, including follow-ups and education, hearing aid checks and adjustments, programming, repairs, and cleanings
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and providing treatment for tinnitus patients
- Utilize Real Ear Measurement (REM) in hearing aid fittings
- Collaborate with primary care providers and the Advanced Audiology team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master's, HIS or BC-HIS
- State licensure or ability to obtain state licensure in Massachusetts
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
