You will lead their audit practice, overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements for a wide range of clients. You will play a key role in maintaining client relationships and mentoring their audit team. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning and coordination of audit engagements, including risk assessment, audit strategy, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, GAAS, and firm policies. Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and audit reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Mentor and develop audit staff and managers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices. Serve as a technical resource for the firm and clients.
- Identify opportunities for new business and assist in the growth of the audit practice. Participate in networking events and marketing initiatives.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and development of the audit practice, aligning with the firm s long-term goals.
- Lead and manage multiple audit engagements and teams, ensuring timely and accurate completion of audits.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and addressing client needs and concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in public accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Extensive experience in audit and assurance services.
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and relevant regulatory requirements. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
