Position: Senior AuditorAs a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for leading and performing financial audits for various clients, including government entities, non-profit organizations, and privately owned businesses. You will utilize your strong understanding of auditing principles and GAAP to ensure compliance and identify potential risks and improvements for our clients.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform financial audits for clients in various industries, including government entities, non-profit organizations, and privately owned businesses.
- Utilize your knowledge of GAAP and auditing principles to ensure compliance and identify potential risks and improvements for clients.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Train and mentor junior auditors and provide guidance and feedback to enhance their skills and performance.
- Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings and recommendations to clients and senior management.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and best practices in auditing.
- Assist in the development and implementation of audit policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP and auditing principles
- Experience working with government entities, non-profit organizations, and privately owned businesses is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Willingness to travel as needed
