Audit Senior

A well-respected CPA firm in the area is looking to add an experienced Audit Senior to their team. This stable and growing firm offers clients a competitive base salary, benefits, and a great group of mentors. Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is an opportunity for an Audit Senior to join a team of highly motivated staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the auditing of all required financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables.
  • Develop an understanding of the client's business.
  • Supervise Audit Associates on engagement teams and function as an in-charge facilitating field work by monitoring and reporting regarding productivity and adherence to work plan schedules on each assignment.
  • Anticipate and address client concerns and escalate issues as they arise.
  • Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient.
  • Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to Managers and Partners
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Recognize and inform management of opportunities to increase the level and types of services to clients.
  • Ensure professional development through ongoing education.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree
  • 2 years of relevant experience in a public accounting environment, auditing financial statements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience auditing clients in a variety of industries.
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to act in charge of engagements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000- 120,000

Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience: Previous/Current Public Accounting Experience 2 years (Required)

License/Certification: CPA License (Preferred)

Work Location: Remote / Hybrid / On-Sight
