Audit SupervisorPosition OverviewThe Audit Supervisor will oversee and manage audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial statements and for leading a team of auditors to deliver high-quality audit services.Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
- Review and evaluate internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and present audit findings to management and clients, ensuring clear communication of complex information.
- Mentor and train junior auditors, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and enhance audit methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of experience in audit, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of auditing standards and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certification as a CPA is preferred but not required.
