Job Description:

Overview The IT Audit Team Leader reports to the Director of Audit Services with the following primary responsibilities: - Perform ongoing risk assessments for identification and prioritization of IT audits. - Develop, execute and supervise risk-based audit programs, procedures and techniques to test IT processes. - Perform and supervise independent, complex audits and investigations by reviewing the effectiveness of IT controls, including system implementations, application/access controls, and security of systems. - Demonstrate project management and administration skills by executing audits and projects within established timeline, scope, and budget, with minimal supervision. - Identify areas of potential high-risk and drive solutions to enhance the control environment and IT processes. - Communicate verbal and written audit information to management and the Audit Committee in a clear, concise and timely manner. - Coordinate with process owners to track management action plans, ensuring risks are remediated or accepted with appropriate supporting documentation. - Contribute to the development of the Audit Services strategy and mission. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Information Technology. - CIA, CPA or CISA required. CISA preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit (internal audit or public accounting). - Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Cobit and other IT standards. - Healthcare audit experience preferred. - Supervisory experience preferred. - Experience with Microsoft Office products. - Experience with Epic, Peoplesoft, Kronos, ACL and TeamMate preferred. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'frequent driver' NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job. Licensure/Certification/Registration: CIA, CPA or CISA
