If you are analytically minded with exceptional communication skills, we want to talk to you!Current college students within 6 months of obtaining a bachelor's degree, are encouraged to apply!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs an Auditor 1, you will have the ability to work independently and as a contributing member of a team, completing assigned duties of limited scope, and communicating with the audit supervisor or auditor-in-charge. You will develop a working knowledge of PLCB functions, auditing, and office techniques, have the opportunity to travel to assigned site locations to interview staff and obtain evidence, as well as participate in interviews of PLCB staff to elicit factual information relevant to the assignment. You will be required to have an extensive working knowledge of software such as MS Excel and MS Access to gather, interpret, compile, and analyze data pertinent to assignments. Work includes performing fieldwork audit activities to ensure that PLCB policy, designed internal controls, and laws and regulations are adhered to. Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. AWS (alternate work schedule) may be available upon successful completion of probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as a Financial Programs Trainee; or Four years of accounting and/or auditing experience; and fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting; or Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training which includes fifteen (15) college level credits in accounting and auditing.Other Requirements: This particular position also requires possession of a valid Driver's license.
