As such, CarMax Compliance Services Audit performs a variety of testing/audits to assess operational compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, guidelines, and internal policies/procedures. As an Auditor, you will work with a variety of associates and leaders throughout the organization at CarMax Auto Finance (CAF) and CarMax to assess the Company's compliance.

As such, CarMax Compliance Services Audit performs a variety of testing/audits to assess operational compliance with applicable state and federal laws, regulations, guidelines, and internal policies/procedures. As an Auditor, you will work with a variety of associates and leaders throughout the organization at CarMax Auto Finance (CAF) and CarMax to assess the Company's compliance.

Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the Kennesaw, GA CAF location and have a Hybrid work arrangement

Work Authorization: Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What you'll do – Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of company operational regulatory compliance audits.
• Perform testing of company processes to ensure compliance with laws and regulations in a complex multi-state environment.
• Assist in the development of value-added services (i.e. process improvements and best practice policies) for different operational areas, with guidance from other Compliance Associates and Mangers.

• Assist in gathering and testing documentation required for compliance audits, services provider compliance audits, CarMax product reviews, store audits, external examinations, conduit banks reviews, and securitization parties – all within the scope of operational regulatory compliance.

• Perform and ensure execution of other administrative tasks/projects as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field and 1-2 years of audit, auto finance operations, or compliance experience or 5+ years relevant formal compliance or audit experience in lieu of a degree.
• CPA, CIA, or CISA are a plus.
• Strong background in internal controls and compliance.
• Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with various levels of management in business units, work on team based projects in addition to working independently.
• Excellent time management and self-management skills in addition to strong attention to detail are required for this role.
