Auditorium Site-Supervisor - Lindbergh High School
- Schedule: hours may vary, part time hours mainly in the evenings and weekends
- Starting Hourly rate: $25.00/hour

Summary: Manages the day of operation of events in the Lindbergh auditorium. Responsible for set-up and operation of technical theater equipment for a variety of events produced by various district groups and community organizations. Maintains safe conditions by following all safety procedures and fosters a nurturing environment for techs/assistants. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent Lindbergh Schools in a professional, pleasant, and welcoming manner
- Problem solve as needed to ensure a safe, calm, successful event
- Greet rental groups and guests, answering any questions they have and finding answers
- Work with the Auditorium Manager to develop, implement and monitor policies to ensure a safe work environment
- Interacts and communicates effectively with staff team members, community groups, adults and students of all ages
- Work with the custodial team to ensure space is properly unlocked and set-up prior to the event and cleaned, locked up, and secure post event
- Send event reports to Auditorium Manager
- Oversees and assists user groups with event load-ins and load outs.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming, compassionate climate
- Supervise and work with Auditorium Technicians on set-up, teardown and operating theatrical lighting,video, sound, and rigging equipment
- Performs minor repairs on audiovisual and technical equipment
- Makes recommendations to the Auditorium Manager regarding capital purchases of technical equipment
- Stays abreast of new technology and software relative to theatrical lighting,video, sound, and rigging
- Aware of and reports all broken equipment and unsafe situations
- Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and orderly environment
- Attend all mandatory trainings and meetings
- Perform additional auditorium or event duties as assigned
Education and Desired Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree preferred.
- Familiar with basic first aid
- Strong knowledge of use and operation of sound reinforcement, lighting, rigging systems, set design and movements, and audiovisual equipment required.
- Familiarity with Safety compliance
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office software and Google applications
- Ability to push or lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to regularly stand, sit, talk, hear, walk, and reach
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, especially evenings and weekends
- Ability to bend, twist, lift and manipulate equipment and supplies
