By focusing on innovation, operational excellence, and adaptability to challenges like population growth, EAWA aims to build trust through transparency, fostering community engagement, and collaborating with stakeholders to support the community's growth and well-being.The Elizabethtown Area Water Authority is seeking an Authority Manager / Executive Director to oversee the strategic direction and daily operations of the water authority, ensuring the delivery of safe and reliable water to the community. The ideal candidate will have experience managing infrastructure, budgets, and compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence both inside and outside the organization. The Authority Manager / Executive Director will act as the primary liaison with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and industry partners, and lead efforts to secure funding and implement innovative solutions for sustainable water management. Additionally, the Authority Manager / Executive Director will champion organizational stewardship and operational efficiency to meet the current and future needs of the community.Authority Manager/ Executive Director position qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, Environmental Science or related field, preferred, Advanced degree, highly desirable- Water systems or related industry experience, strongly preferred- Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience, including successfully developing people and demonstrating strong financial and business acumen- Experience with implementing multiphase capital improvement programs, preferred- Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, essential- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders, including public officials, community members, and staff, essential- Demonstrated community involvement, strongly preferredPlease submit resume and cover letter: www.NorthGroupConsultants.com/jobs
