A growing homecare agency in Suffern, NY is looking to add an Authorization Coordinator to the team!All potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.*Job Description:** Contact Insurance carriers to verify patient insurance Eligibility, Benefits and requirements* Request and obtain pre-Authorizations from Insurance for each Patient within a timely manner* Follow up and secure Authorization before services* Communicate with Patients and caregivers regarding authorized services / Ineligibility*Requirements:** Highly organized* Detail orientated* Excellent communication and phone skills / Customer service experience* Ability to handle confidential information* Insurance billing experience required* Ability to keep composure* Spanish speaking a plusExperience in home care is a plus.
