Description Gratiot Integrated Health Network (GIHN) has an immediate opening for a full-time, Autism Assessment Specialist. Masters Degree in Social Work REQUIRED The Autism Assessment Specialist is responsible for providing initial and/or additionally requested comprehensive autism assessments, determining appropriate treatment planning, and/or making referrals to other services if deemed necessary, to consumers requesting and/or receiving autism services through the MDHHS Autism Benefit. The Autism Assessment Specialist is involved in organized, on-going, collaborative efforts that involve individuals aged birth through 20 years of age with confirmed or suspected developmental disabilities-related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) that may require services from multiple systems.
