Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Claim Manager to lead our Auto Appraisal Team. This role involves overseeing a team of auto appraisers in Texas and Nevada, ensuring efficient and accurate appraisal processes for non-standard auto insurance claims. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in auto claims management, excellent technical expertise, and exceptional leadership abilities, all while demonstrating a passion for outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of auto appraisers across Texas and Nevada, ensuring effective staffing, support, and performance.
- Claims Oversight: Direct the appraisal process from assignment to resolution, providing guidance based on the complexity of claims.
- Performance Management: Review appraisal reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with documentation standards and company policies.
- Operational Excellence: Establish best practices for appraisal accuracy, customer service, and claims resolution in collaboration with peers and executive management.
- Training & Development: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to team members, fostering professionalism and engagement.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company procedures, and best practices in auto appraisal and claims management.
- Vendor Management: Oversee the use of independent appraisers and direct repair facilities, balancing cost and quality.
- Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance reviews, compile evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to support team members' growth.
Qualifications:
- Extensive Auto Claims Experience: A minimum of 5 years in auto claims management or a related role, with a strong understanding of non-standard auto insurance.
- Claims Expertise: Proven experience in managing appraisal processes, with a thorough understanding of auto insurance products and industry standards.
- Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and develop teams, with strong mentoring and training capabilities.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Communication & Analytical Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, strong organizational skills, and capacity to analyze data for continuous improvement.

Pay: $85,000 - $105,000
