DescriptionAuto Apprentice Technician - Ford LincolnSewell Ford has great opportunities for entry level technicians to join our team and learn from our experienced technicians in an automotive apprenticeship. Most of our best master technicians started as entry level techs and apprentices. This is an ideal opportunity for those wanting to start in the automotive industry and are willing to work a part time or full time schedule, while also using training and resources to obtain certifications through Ford and Lincoln. Our apprentice technicians have the opportunity to work with a great team while providing great customer service in a fast pace work environment. Must be able to pass a drug screen and have a valid license and clean driving record.Job Responsibilities:
- Perform multipoint inspections
- Communicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors
- Work alongside experienced technician in full services and wide range of repairs
- Be responsible for documenting work performed on repair order
- Communicate with service advisors, management, other technicians, and customers
- Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conduct
- Follow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals
- Obtain training via online or in person class programs

Qualifications:In order to be successful in this position, the individual must be able to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily, have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, complete a drug screening, background screening, and provide all government I-9 requirements.
