The Auto Body Painter will perform quality body work and painting on all Pebble Beach Company licensed vehicles and various types of equipment. It annually hosts premier events such as the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, TaylorMade Pebble Beach Invitational, Pebble Beach Food & Wine and PURE Insurance Championship Impacting First Tee.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:* Repair damage to licensed vehicles and various types of equipment.* Paint non-automotive resort items, i.e. street signs, resort signs, exterior lamps, and cosmetic accessories.* Maintain accurate work sheets (parts and labor) on all maintenance and repairs completed.* Perform body repairs and fiberglass work when necessary.* Wash and detail vehicles.* Remain informed on the latest types of paint materials and equipment.* Mix paint for color matching.* Maintain accurate logs of paint materials used on projects.* Maintain accurate logs for the Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District.* Proper use of respiratory equipment and all safety materials.* Properly dispose of all used chemicals.* Maintain a presentable appearance and courteous manner, projecting a positive attitude to other departments.* Maintain good housekeeping standards.* Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.Absolutely Required Skills:* Excellent painting skills, as well as the ability to mix colors.* Knowledge of all painting materials and their appropriate uses.* Must be able to use paint sprayer and other related equipment.* Ability to work in a neat and orderly way, always maintaining a professional appearance.* Minimum 3 years painting and auto body experience.* Must be able to perform physically active work, including heavy lifting, for an entire shift.Why work for Pebble Beach Company:* Competitive Pay: $30.00 - $35.00/hour.* Enjoy world-class health and wellness benefits.
