Job OverviewThe Auto Dealer Sales Representative develops relationships with key personnel in automobile dealerships for the purpose of expanding our consumer loan portfolio through indirect lending.Job DescriptionResponsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conduct all normal portfolio maintenance activities in support of an existing retail finance portfolio.
- Prospect and cultivate new relationships, with the ability to identify potential leads.
- Resolve loan structuring problems and customer issues in coordination with Auto Dealer Sales Manager.
- Achieve quarterly goals.
- Provide documented call reporting and results to management.
- Meet daily with Financial Managers at auto dealerships.
- Obtain financial statements from auto dealers.
- Compile data and share with management.
- Evaluate market conditions and report to management.
- Provide professional, courteous and prompt service to dealers.
- Introduce and offer financial products to auto dealers.
RequirementsRequired Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic PC skills including e-mail, general understanding of databases, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Required Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of three years experience in auto retail sales/finance, leasing and F-I Management.
- Banking background helpful.
