The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities include inspecting engines, transmissions, brakes, and other mechanical components, conducting routine maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations, and performing detailed diagnostic tests using specialized tools. The mechanic will collaborate with service advisors to explain issues and recommend appropriate repairs to customers. Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety protocols are essential. Experience with a range of makes and models is preferred. The ideal candidate is ASE-certified, with 2+ years of hands-on experience in automotive repair. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy equipment.
