Colony Tire is currently seeking a full-time Automotive Service Technician to join our team! Our technicians work for competitive pay in a fast-paced environment. Full benefit package offered including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) + Profit Sharing, paid holidays, vacation time, company paid life insurance, and short-term disability.Summary:Employee will be required to perform tire and auto-related service as well as other duties as assigned by the manager.Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:Follow established procedures to inspect tires, wheels and vehicles before and after service.Review work orders and discuss work with supervisors.Document work performed accurately and according to company policy.Raise vehicles using hydraulic jacks and/or automotive lifts.Unbolt and re-bolt wheels from/to vehicles, using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools.Mount and dismount tires onto wheels.Identify and inflate tires correctly for the size and ply.Place wheels on balancing machines to determine counterweights required to balance wheels. Hammer required counterweights onto rims of wheels.Replace valve stems and remove puncturing objects.Rotate tires to different positions on vehicles.Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as but not limited to oil changes, and lubrications.Road test cars as directed by management.Pull vehicles in and out of shop safely.Education:High school or equivalency, and/or related experience is preferred but not required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
