Title: Automation Controls Engineer

Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite)

Employment Type: Fulltime Permanent with AXISCADES.

Position Overview

The Automation Controls Engineer role is crucial for the AES Engineering team at customer's Switchgear, focusing on the design and development of generator control switchgear human machine interface (HMI) applications. This position plays a key role in backfilling and supporting the team's growth and development to meet customer demands in the automated switchgear industry.

Job Responsibilities

Design, modify, develop, write, convert, and implement software programming for HMI applications.

Configure, program, and test HMI hardware.

Collaborate with Power System Engineers to validate and correct HMI programming.

Provide support for HMI issues in the field and remote HMI installation support.

Education & Experience Required

Degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum with 1-3 years of experience, or equivalent experience.

Will consider a 2-year degree with 4+ years of experience.

No Master's degrees.

Relevant internships may be considered.
