The ideal candidate will be skilled in designing and developing electrical and control systems, troubleshooting equipment, and managing projects related to automation, safety retrofits, and facility upgrades. Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor and Allen-Bradley PLC programming is essential, along with strong project management and supervisory experience in an industrial setting.Benefits of Working With Us

Requirements We are searching for a candidate with:
  • Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience (e.g., Journeyman's license).
  • At least 10 years of automation experience in an industrial setting.
  • Proven project management and machinery/plant layout experience.
  • Supervisory experience on job sites is a plus.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Inventor and PLC programming, specifically with Allen-Bradley devices.
Duties and Responsibilities A typical day may include:
  • Design and develop electrical and control systems for machinery, including PLCs, HMIs, and motion controllers, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and support production equipment, and design systems for automation and safety retrofits.
  • Manage the procurement and maintenance of electrical components and create operating manuals for equipment.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, purchasing, and contractors on electrical solutions and provide engineering support for power supply and controls across facilities.
  • Lead facility layout, equipment relocation, and company-wide projects for process and equipment upgrades.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in coordinating tasks and train electrical department staff on controls, troubleshooting, and best practices.
