Clayton, North Carolina, 27527 United States How you might spend your daysAs an Automation Engineer, you'll be working with a motivated, multi-disciplinary team where, you'll:
  • Manage automation projects for on-time delivery and within budget
  • Interact with clients to identify and analyze continuous improvements through automation upgrades
  • Manage, document and implement these upgrades through change control procedures
  • Execute capital projects including control system logic development, control system hardware, design, network design, URS development, and training on Automation Systems
  • Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve field control system issues
  • Develop, review and/or execute automation qualification and validation protocols

The miles you've walkedTo apply for the position there are some things that are needed, and others are a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
  • B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science or Bio-Process Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years' experience designing, implementing and supporting manufacturing automation solutions.
  • 3+ years Emerson DeltaV Batch experience or Deltva V Safety Instrumented System required.
  • Good knowledge of GAMP lifecycle is considered as a bonus.
