A&B Process Systems is a business unit of JBT Corporation and an industry leader in the design, fabrication, automation and installation of stainless steel process systems used in multiple industries. As our Automation Engineer you will report to the Automation Manager and you will oversee the development, basic programming, commissioning, and technical support of control systems for A&B Process Systems skidded equipment and small ready-to-use projects. This position is geared towards the hardware portion, including instrumentation, panel and network design as well overall system architecture. On a given day, you may: Work with the Panel Shop Lead to assist with projects and schedules in the Panel Shop. Work with customers for sales pre-qualification, RFQs, and sold projects. Follow Automation Engineering standards and SOPs to guarantee a quality engineered product. Coordinate with Estimating, Sales, Process Engineering, Production Planning and the shop floor on meeting requirements on budgets and timelines on all projects. Provide project support for electrical testing, factory acceptance testing, and startup and commissioning of skidded process control systems. Provide documentation and training for the customer. Requirements for the role Knowledge of Process Control Instrumentation, Control Panel design Knowledge of Control System Electrical Engineering\Design and Instrumentation is required. Project Engineering and Management 3 + years of experience creating drawings using AutoCAD Electrical 2019 You will enhance the Automation Team through shared technical knowledge and mentoring.
