About This OpportunityThe QA Automation Engineer I is responsible for supporting multiple teams in aggressive Agile environments and delivering automated testing scripts. The Senior Automation Engineer will be responsible for maintaining quality strategies, methodologies, industry standard best practices, and validation methods for all supported systems (Front end and Back end) within dev, test, UAT, and production environments. High level testing buckets will traverse numerous SDLC components and features such as performance, load, mobile and compliance standards. ResponsibilitiesAutomate the regression test scenarios across multiple application under SOP team.Participate in testing efforts on a cross-functional product team in an agile environmentContribute to an established automation framework by adding UI and API automated testsBecome an expert in how InComm systems operateAssess risks and orchestrate appropriate test coverage to mitigate risksCollaborate on a tight-knit agile team; participate in daily stand-ups, estimating/planning, and retrospectivesPerform session-based exploratory testing to understand the system and uncover problemsInvestigate and clearly report issuesSupport developers, product teams, and customer-facing teams with troubleshooting assistanceExamine failures and facilitate continuous improvement efforts within and across teamsProvide value wherever possible, be driven to get things done QualificationsRequired:3-5 years of experience in a similar roleCore Skillsets: Java, Selenium, JUnitExperience with Cypress or similar toolAbility to decompose complex systems and discover the most important issues quicklyExperience-based understanding of nuances of QA in an agile environmentDemonstrate understanding of architecture and technologies you've testedBasic programming/scripting ability with experience using multiple languagesDriven for continuous improvement in yourself and your teamMethodical, focused, disciplined; you don't drop the ballCommunicate well and work effectively with your teamPreferred:BS in Computer Science or related fieldAdditional Skillsets: Cypress, TeamCity, Wiremock, Selenoid, Apache POI, BrowserStackTrained in Rapid Software Testing methodologies or Context-Driven testingExperience with relational databases (SQL)Basic programming ability; working knowledge of C# and/or JavaScript
