Position Overview:The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, programming, and implementing automated solutions for industrial processes. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure efficient production. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PLC programming, motion control, and industrial safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement automated solutions using PLC programming, motion control, and HMI.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and regulations.
- Utilize Rockwell Automation software and other tools to program, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve production efficiency.
- Create and maintain control diagrams, drawings, and other technical documentation.
- Perform industrial fieldbus troubleshooting and utilize Ethernet, CAN, and other protocols.
- Backup and restore control systems as needed.
- Conduct presentations and communicate technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.
- Maintain organized and accurate process documentation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation technology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automation industry.
- Strong knowledge of PLC logic and programming, motion control, and HMI hardware.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation software is preferred.
- Familiarity with PLCs from Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Schneider Electric.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to interpret control diagrams and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of process optimization and experience implementing automated solutions.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial fieldbus systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
