Job Description:
Position Overview:The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, programming, and implementing automated solutions for industrial processes. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and ensure efficient production. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PLC programming, motion control, and industrial safety standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement automated solutions using PLC programming, motion control, and HMI.
  • Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and regulations.
  • Utilize Rockwell Automation software and other tools to program, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve production efficiency.
  • Create and maintain control diagrams, drawings, and other technical documentation.
  • Perform industrial fieldbus troubleshooting and utilize Ethernet, CAN, and other protocols.
  • Backup and restore control systems as needed.
  • Conduct presentations and communicate technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized and accurate process documentation.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation technology.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the automation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC logic and programming, motion control, and HMI hardware.
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PLCs from Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, or Schneider Electric.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to interpret control diagrams and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of process optimization and experience implementing automated solutions.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial fieldbus systems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
