Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Translate user requirements into functional and technical concepts.
  • Provide advanced technical solutions and lead project teams.
  • Innovate solutions for manufacturing challenges and optimize processes.
  • Conduct plant assessments and define customer requirements (DOU/SOW).
  • Prepare and evaluate RFQs/RFIs and vendor quotes.
  • Develop proposals and support project acquisition efforts.
  • Coordinate with offshore and vendor teams.
  • Conduct project and management status reviews.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Travel as required for project execution.

Skills Required:

General:

  • Project management and end-to-end automation project execution.
  • Proposal preparation, estimation, and customer/vendor management.
  • Offshore coordination and plant assessments.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Business development and sales coordination.

Technical:

  • Experience in manufacturing and process automation.
  • Knowledge of custom-engineered solutions, assembly line automation, and control systems.
  • Expertise in robotics, collaborative robots, and automation cell integration.
  • Understanding of low-cost automation, fixture design, SPM, and testing machines.
  • Familiarity with OT communication protocols and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Industry experience in Truck & Off-Highway Manufacturing (other industries are a plus).

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering

Experience: 4-5 years
