Our talented and dedicated professionals are committed to making an impact every day.Company Culture Guidelines & Values:We empower and support our colleaguesWe commit to client success at every turnWe have the courage to do the right thingWe encourage an inclusive environment where our colleagues feel respected, engaged, and challenged.We constantly acquire new skills and learn from our experiences to enhance our collective expertiseAutomation Engineer Responsibilities:We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with expertise in programming automated equipment, including vision systems, high-speed mechanical assembly lines, and Fanuc robotics, primarily supporting Syringe Tub Handling platforms while additionally supporting Literature Loading and Bin Assembly and Collapsing systems.Project Delivery Support:Provide automation/mechanical technical support for troubleshooting during the commissioning and qualification phasePerform &/or support the execution of commissioning and qualification testing on the equipmentProvide technical support for integration of the line with site automation systems and other ancillary equipment (ie: MES)Perform source code review and code management for associated manufacturing equipmentUpdate technical design documentation with respect to project delivery change management processesSupport site engineering initiatives including but not limited to training/development of site staff, drafting technical procedures, troubleshooting guidesKnowledge sharing:Serve as a key resource to support site engineering groupsCommunicate continuous improvement solutions to respective GR platform stewards, and gain support for ideas on issue resolutionHands-on resource to help troubleshoot issues but also be primary point of contact for GR personnel when trying to resolve itemsRequirementsBachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical parenteral manufacturing.Experience working with and programming automated equipment including vision systems, high-speed mechanical assembly lines, Fanuc robotics.Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing ideal, additional benefit if direct experience withHigh-speed device assemblyPackaging manufacturing equipmentParenteral manufacturing equipment (filling/inspection lines)Automated Storage Retrieval Systems (ASRS)Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)Knowledge regarding Documentation management, and ability to execute Test Cases, Checklists and capture a pending point list with appropriate responsible and resolutionAbility to program Rockwell PLC, FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA systems with hands-on troubleshooting experienceExperience working hands-on with mechanical assembly machines, pneumatics, instrumentation, electrical drawings, etcExperience working with vendors/OEM personnelStrong communicator, as individual will be attending many remote meetings with Global Robotics personnel via Teams.
