If you share it, JOIN US!! We are looking for a Professional willing to join our Technical Services department, in particular, the team dedicated to Reheating, Pipes, Plates, and Specialty Furnaces. The candidate should have a strong motivation to work within an international and challenging environment and a strong background in automation and electrical systems within the industrial environment. Youwill carry on the following activities:

  • Software design for PLCs and HMIs for controlling high-tech industrial equipment.
  • Develop functional design specifications for the control system based on the as-sold contract technical specification.
  • Develop and execute an efficient software program based on the functional description.
  • Interact with client and third-party suppliers, as well as other internal departments.
  • Prepare equipment purchase specifications for all computer hardware and software required for the control system.
  • Develop, customize, and test the control system software before delivery to the customer.
  • Install and implement the control system at the customer site.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and proficiency with Electrical and Controls troubleshooting techniques and tools.
  • Assist the project manager with technical expertise that may be required throughout the project.
  • Coordinate with other engineers, designers, and departments to ensure integrated design.
  • Travel up to 50% domestic and internationally (Mexico and Canada).
Required profile:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technical degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical work is preferred.
  • Programming experience:
    • PLCs: Siemens S7, Rockwell ControlLogix, GE
    • HMIs: Wonderware, Interacty X, RSView, WinCC
  • Familiarity with combustion systems is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels within and outside of the organization.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated time management skills necessary to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Skills or Experience:
  • Experience working for an engineering company
  • Work experience involving material handling applications, combustion applications and advanced process control techniques is desirable.
  • Experience directly related to the steel industry is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: 85,000.00 - 105,000.00 Benefits:
