These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Experience in installing and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers, AC/DC Motors, Motor starters, Phase power distribution, solid state logic, process instrumentation, VFDs.
- Manage the robotics ethernet data network while complying with all safety, quality, OSHA (Occupational Safety Health Administration), FDA regulations and local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot microprocessor-based systems, measurement-optical systems, visions systems, controls and programming at the micro-controllers and PLC levels.
- Install and repair electrical equipment from written specifications such as blueprints, equipment manuals, engineering sketches, and verbal instruction and update appropriate drawings to reflect changes under the guidance of a rigid Change Control Program operating in a regimental LOTO and Zero-Access environment.
- Respond to internal customer needs and requests professionally, effectively, and efficiently.
- Provide recommendations for standardization and establishing quantities of critical electrical spares.
- Perform all job responsibilities in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Maintain current knowledge of cGMP and FDA guidelines that are applicable to the scope of the role.
Why you?Basic Qualifications:We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
- Associate degree and 3+ years' experience in control-design electromechanical maintenance and controls with a background in troubleshooting systems or 5+ years' experience in controls/maintenance engineering
Preferred Qualifications:If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- Strong Teamwork capability and substantiated evidence of partnering with others to achieve performance goals.
- Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years' experience in industrial machine controls (design or build or support)
- Knowledge in a highly technical advanced control setting
- Demonstrated Ability to effectively communicate with others and work across boundaries.
- Demonstrated Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Knowledge to seek opportunities to receive additional training from automation course.
- Flexibility to work overtime and change shifts as needed.
- Prior experience in controls/maintenance engineering, in a pharmaceutical facility Engineering environment preferred.
