*This role can be performed virtually through 2024/2025, with periodic site (Indiana) visits. Starting January 2026, expect presence to increase. Starting in 2027 and through completion of the project, a full-time presence will be required*

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Project Manager to lead the delivery of automation solutions for a key pharmaceutical project. This role requires oversight of project scope, schedule, and cost plans, ensuring successful project execution in compliance with program guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide leadership and accountability for meeting approved scope, schedule, and cost plans.

* Ensure project compliance with planning documents, procedures, and guidelines from the PMO.

* Plan, monitor, and control project activities for specific areas, ensuring timely project execution.

* Communicate project progress and staffing needs to the Program Automation Leader and Program Automation Manager.

* Collaborate with MES, BMS, and Data Historian project managers to ensure successful delivery of each component.

* Lead RFP preparation, bid analysis, and system integration efforts for assigned areas.

* Provide regular progress reports and lessons learned to the PMO.

* Support cost estimates, schedule development, risk management, and change control processes for the project.

Requirements:

* Bachelor s in Engineering or equivalent experience.

* 5+ years of experience in Automation Project Management within the Pharmaceutical Industry.

* Proven experience with DeltaV-controlled or batch-based capital projects preferred.

* Proficiency in project management tools such as P6/MS Project, with strong knowledge of metrics and risk management.

* Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and computer system validation.

* Project Management credentials (PMP) preferred.
