We are seeking a skilled Automation/Robotics Production Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team to facilitate the integration of advanced automation and robotics technologies. This role will focus on the implementation, optimization, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production processes, including robotics, automation systems, and smart manufacturing technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance process reliability, and reduce operational costs in a high-tech, automated environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, robotics, automation, and process optimization, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cutting-edge production environment. RequirementsProcess Optimization & DevelopmentUse data-driven approaches to identify process inefficiencies, troubleshoot production issues, and recommend improvements for cycle time reduction, cost savings, and quality improvement.Develop and refine production workflows to ensure scalability, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness in high-volume production environments.Develop, implement, and optimize automated and robotic systems within the production line to increase efficiency, throughput, and product quality.Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.Automation & Robotics IntegrationCoordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth installation, commissioning, and integration of new technologies.Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate robotics and automation systems (e.g., robotic arms, conveyors, automated assembly lines) into the manufacturing process.Troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain automated systems, working closely with technical teams to ensure all systems are functioning optimally.Maintenance & SupportDevelop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for automation systems and robotic equipment.Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support to resolve issues with automated machinery and robotic systems.Work with the maintenance team to perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.Continuous Improvement & Lean ManufacturingIdentify and eliminate waste in production processes, improve material flow, and optimize the use of automation tools.Conduct process audits, evaluate production data, and provide actionable insights to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes using lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other best practices.Assist in the development of process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.Data Analysis & Process MonitoringCollect and analyze production data (e.g., throughput, downtime, equipment utilization) to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.Utilize process control software, SCADA, and other industrial data collection tools to gather actionable insights for continuous process improvement.Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode effect analysis (FMEA) to address process deviations, bottlenecks, and system inefficiencies.Collaboration & Technical SupportProvide technical support to the production team, troubleshooting issues related to automated equipment, robotics, and process control systems.Facilitate training sessions to educate operators and technicians on process improvements, automation systems, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Work closely with production, engineering, quality control, and IT teams to ensure seamless collaboration across departments.Project Management & Process DocumentationManage and oversee process-related projects, from concept through implementation, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting performance goals.Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process flow diagrams.Document process changes and improvements, maintaining accurate records for compliance and continuous tracking.Compliance & SafetyEnsure all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.Promote a culture of safety by conducting risk assessments, performing safety audits, and implementing safety protocols in the automated production environment.Qualifications & Skills:Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in in a manufacturing environment with significant automation and robotics integrationHands-on experience with automation systems, PLCs, robotics (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB), and industrial control systems.Experience working with manufacturing automation technologies (e.g., robotic arms, CNC machines, AGVs, PLCs, SCADA systems).Strong background in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.Expertise in process analysis, control, and troubleshooting automation systems.Strong proficiency with industrial automation tools, including PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems.Proficient in CAD (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and process simulation tools.Familiarity with robotics programming and integration.Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and propose effective solutions.Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and digital manufacturing tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.Additional Preferred Qualifications:Experience with robotic programming languages (e.g., ROS, ABB RobotStudio, FANUC, KUKA).Certifications in
