The Automation Specialist is responsible for ensuring high quality software is released into production environments in order to deliver first class member experiences. This individual is responsible for documenting and coordinating test activities across a wide range of software solutions including both third party and custom developed platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Ability to solve a wide ranging business problems that result in fully automated solutions
- Create test cases that ensure all business and technical requirements are covered
- Develop automated test scripts
- Train and mentor other team members
- Reproduce, investigate and debug software issues in coordination with the development team
- Assist in the creation of requirements documentation as needed
- Provide first level assistance for issue resolution
- Provide basic system administration and application support for various systems.
- Work with management to prioritize tasks and technical issues during all phases of software development
- Display a professional attitude in dealing with supervisors, coworkers, members, and others inside and outside the credit union
- Implement process automation to achieve efficiencies with the Credit Union
Required Skills
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in information technology
- Experience with automation platforms and scripting languages/technologies (appium, selenium, ansible, python, UiPath)
- Desire and ability to learn new skills and technologies.
- Experience in testing UIs on multiple devices and platforms.
- Strong problem solving skills that result in creative solutions.
- Experience with writing SQL preferred
- Basic HTML, CSS, knowledge
- Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees, members, vendors and company contacts
