Automation Technician (2nd Shift)

Location: Columbia, SC

Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday-Friday (with voluntary weekend work)

Pay: Starting from $23/hr, up to $35/hr based on experience level (plus $2.00/hr shift premium)

Join our team in Columbia, SC, where we are a leading provider of solar power inverters and support solutions. We're looking for skilled Automation Technicians to support our growing operations. With roughly 600 employees and a large contingent workforce, our facility is a fast-paced environment focused on cutting-edge automation and robotics.

What You'll Do:

As an Automation Technician, you will:

• Maintain continuous operation of automation and robotic systems by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying components as needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to bring them back to full service.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on all subsystems and components.
• Ensure all robotic and support equipment maintenance is completed on a regular schedule.
• Work with PLCs, interpreting complex electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams for automated systems.
• Collaborate with the automation team in the qualification and optimization of automated systems.

Experience We're Looking For:

• Education/Training: An Associate's degree in a related field, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience.
• Technical Knowledge: A basic functional knowledge of in automation systems.
