Job summary
Cognizant is seeking an experienced QA Automation/functional tester to join our team. As a team player the selected candidate will take ownership of ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. This will involve developing Automation and executing test plans and test cases identifying defects and working collaboratively with the development team to resolve issues sticking to the defined timeline.
Responsibilities
Review and analyze system specifications.
Develop detailed functional non- functional automation test plans and test cases based on requirements.
Create Automated test scripts.
Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects.
Document and report defects to the development team
Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and retest the software.
Ensure that the software adheres to quality standards and follows the industry best practices.
Participate in team meetings to provide feedback on the software and testing process.
Bachelors or Graduates Degree in electrical engineering computer science or information systems.
Expert level Experience with python/java scripting / Cyprus / Selenium.
Expert Level Experience with LoadRunner JMeter Performance Center cloud software and systems.
Must have Gitlab AWS.
Good to have Splunk Dynatrace.
Comfortable with scripting debugging and problem solving.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Experience with operating systems application performance and test automation.
Must conduct performance analysis and adhere to writing protocols.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 to $115,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
