Job Description
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH C# .NETAs an Automation Test Lead using Selenium, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for web applications using the Selenium framework. You will also be involved in debugging, troubleshooting, and reporting defects and issues. You will work closely with the development team and the business analysts to ensure the quality and functionality of the web applications. You will also follow the best practices and standards of automation testing and documentation.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Java, Maven, and Jenkins
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of web applications across various browsers and platforms
Identify, analyze, and report test results, defects, and issues using JIRA or other defect tracking tools
Collaborate with the development team and the business analysts to understand the requirements and specifications of the web applications
Review and update test cases and test scenarios based on the changes in the web applications
Ensure the compliance and adherence of the automation testing standards and best practices
Years of experience needed
Overall, 6- 10 years in Automation Testing using selenium for window/web-based applications.
Technical Skills:
Technical skills for Selenium Automation Tester:
Proficient in using Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, and Selenium IDE, Visual Studio for developing automated test scripts
Knowledge of various testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber and how to integrate them with Selenium
Experience in working with different web browsers, web elements, locators, and selectors
Familiarity with Java, Python, or other programming languages that support Selenium
Ability to design, implement, and maintain reusable and modular test cases and test suites
Understanding of software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and quality assurance standards
Certifications Needed:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
