Known for its customer-focused approach, the dealership emphasizes transparency and quality in both sales and service.Salary:Hourly rate of $20-$50 per hour (negotiable based on experience)Job Summary: Our client is seeking a skilled Auto Mechanic or Master Technician to join their team, responsible for maintaining and repairing vehicles. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring maximum vehicle reliability and functionality. Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic system knowledge, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills, are essential for success in this role.Job Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose issues in vehicle engines and mechanical/electrical components accurately.
  • Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to perform necessary repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Conduct routine tasks such as fluid replacement and part lubrication to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Schedule future maintenance sessions and advise customers on proper vehicle use.
  • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts, addressing issues like leaks.
  • Provide accurate estimates for repair or maintenance jobs, including cost, time, and effort.
  • Maintain detailed logs of work performed and issues encountered.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good condition.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an auto mechanic.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle components.
  • Proficiency with vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
  • Ability to operate various tools and heavy equipment safely.
  • Commitment to following safety precautions to protect against accidents and hazardous materials.
  • Excellent physical condition.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Valid certifications (e.g., ASE) are a plus.
