Position Overview

Jaguar Land Rover North Dade team is seeking an Experienced Automotive Title Clerk/Accounting Clerk for a fast-paced dealership.

As part of the dealership accounting team, this individual must be able to communicate well both verbally and via email, work efficiently be proficient and demonstrate excellent computer skills. The ideal candidate must have previous dealership experience and be capable of learning our DMS CDK system and processes. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely title processing, which is essential for legal and financial compliance.

Responsibilities

* Title work processing- retail, wholesale, dealer trades using DLR DMV in a timely and accurate manner.

* Processing out of state title work using DLR 50- follow up with requirements to complete the transaction.

* Knowledge of export processing and requirements

* Verify and maintain the accuracy of vehicle inventory, titles, and registration documents

* Follow up with vehicle payoffs - secure titles in a timely matter

* Provide weekly aging reports with related notes- assist on monthly asset meetings

* Review accounting schedules on a weekly basis

* Assisting in costing wholesales, fleet and dealer trades

* Assist in posting of manufacturer invoices/credit memos daily

* Must have good communication skills with employees.

* Other special projects as requested.

Qualifications

Education:

* Associate degree (two year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: Accounting or relevant field.

Experience:

* Relevant experience as in Automotive Accounting for three to five years may be substituted for Associate degree requirements.

* Experience with dealership accounting functions is a plus!

* Experience in a tag & title is required.

Computer Skills:

* Proficient in ADP/CDK Drive XL DMS preferred.

* Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

* Ability to work in team environments as well as independently.

* Ability to multitask and communicate effectively as well as being highly organized and flexible.
