As an automotive detailer, you'll be responsible for ensuring every customer that chooses York Chevrolet receives a quality, cleaned vehicle upon delivery in a timely and efficient manner. You'll also be responsible for making sure all in-stock vehicles are up to the cleanliness standards we set to provide our customers for test drives. Responsibilities: The Automotive Detailer is responsible for routine cleaning service on vehicles, including lot cleans, delivery cleans, and any other as instructed by a member of management, in a timely and efficient manner. Our staff delivers the highest quality service while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Detail vehicles inside and out.
- Prepare vehicles for customer delivery.
- Run car wash equipment.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
- Complete all work according to dealership applicable safety requirements and published procedures.
- Maintain a clean working environment. Participate in cleaning the group area on a daily basis before departing from work.
- Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to safely operate shop equipment.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers, sales associates, and management.
- Must be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate company and customer vehicles.
- Ability to stand for eight (8) to ten (10) hours per day.
