That is why we offer great compensation, awesome benefits, and a work environment worth bragging about!Job DescriptionAs an employee of Partner Car Salon & Detailing, you will need to have an eye for detail, a great attitude, strong ethics, the ability to multi-task, and a vast mechanical aptitude, all while using your skills and expertise to uphold our company's morals and principles, as well as adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.The perfect applicant is a highly motivated and seasoned AUTOMOTIVE DETAILER that is responsible for cleaning and restoration services for vehicles, both inside and out using a variety of tools and products to make the vehicles look as good as new, or even better.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests.
- Wash, dry, wax, and polish the exterior of vehicles, to include the windows, wheels, tires, and chrome parts.
- Vacuum, shampoo, steam, and deodorize the interior of the car, to include the seats, carpets, mats, dashboard, and console.
- Remove any stains, dirt, dust, grease, or grime from the car's surfaces, using specialized cleaners and brushes.
- Apply protective coatings or treatments to the car's paint, upholstery, leather, vinyl, or rubber to prevent fading, cracking, or damage.
- Operation of buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and any other equipment to meet service expectations.
- Inspect the car's condition and report any issues or defects to the owner/manager.
- Keep complete, accurate records of the vehicle's condition.
- Move, park, and deliver vehicles to correct locations or pick up the owner/driver, if needed.
- Manage inventory and reorder supplies.
- Respond to client inquiries and fulfill their requests.
- Prioritize work load in order of importance and urgency of need.
QualificationsEDUCATION:
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Technical educational training in Automotive Detailing, Automotive Service Tech, or related field, is preferred.
- Successful completion of an Automotive Detailing training program is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license with at least 3 years of clean driving. (A pre-employment MVR background check will be performed.)
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Automotive Detailing industry.
- Must be able to operate a buffer, a steamer, a hose, a vacuum, and any other type of equipment needed to meet service expectations.
- Must have good dexterity and good hand-eye coordination, with the ability to manipulate and assemble very large and extremely small components.
- Must have thorough knowledge of occupational hazards, safety precautions, and safety regulations related to the operations being performed.
- Must have the ability to work overtime during the busy seasons of the year.
