Responsibilities:
  • Guide customers through the financing process, explaining finance options, products, and services to help them make informed decisions
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to foster repeat business and referrals
  • Review credit applications, determine financing options, and work with lenders to secure approvals
  • Present and sell additional products such as extended warranties, insurance, and protection plans
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing the finance and insurance process
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for customers
  • Assist in the preparation of loan documents and ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure seamless coordination between vehicle sales and financing
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of finance and insurance products, industry trends, and lending rates
  • Monitor and manage F&I department processes to meet dealership goals, including profitability and customer satisfaction
  • Report to the General Sales Manager on F&I performance, progress towards goals, and any challenges
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the dealership's goals and operations
Qualifications:
  • Previous Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in automotive finance, F&I management, or a similar role with a proven track record of success
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage customers and explain product features clearly and persuasively
  • Customer-Focused Attitude: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering personalized service to meet their unique needs
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of automotive financing, including lending options, interest rates, leasing, and products
  • Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple customers and financing options at once
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to handle customer objections and resolve issues with a solution-oriented approach
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with legal regulations and ethical guidelines governing automotive finance
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using dealership software, online tools, and CRM systems to manage customer relationships and track transactions
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work well within a team environment to achieve dealership goals
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and Adaptable: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required to meet customer needs
  • Pre-Employment Requirements: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and background check
  • Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
