If you're up to the challenge, apply today!Flat Rate of $50 per hour of Labor with 20 hours guaranteed per week Good commissionResponsibilities•Road-test vehicles when required or refer to the test technician, keeping in mind that the customer vehicle should not be used for personal errands•Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform the repair•Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts•Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required•Full Bays with the Latest Tools & Technology•Keep the shop area neat, and clean•Open and close the shop•Must have mechanical experience and work physically on cars as needed•Deal with customer relations and ensure the best customer service•Must manage the shop's mechanics•Must be organized and knowledgeable in the way business works•Must know how to use a computer•A good understanding of vehicle repair•Good people skills, and ability to explain the vehicle needs to a customer•Good skills in working with employees•Good working knowledge of maintaining vehicles•Computer skills for POS software•Able to take care of day-to-day problems•Bilingual•Effectively balance cost and quality when ordering parts that meet the various needs of departments within the car dealership•Monitor inventory levels to ensure quick access for employees based on projected demand and cost targets•Communicate and negotiate with vendors to purchase parts at price points that facilitate a favorable ROI•Organize all warranty-related documentation•Facilitate promotional offers to help drive automotive parts salesQualifications•ASE Certification, manufacturing training, or equivalent work experience•Valid driver's license and a good driving record•All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA•All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner•All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, drug test•Must have 5-7 years of experience as an Automotive Technician•Mandatory high school diploma or GED equivalent•Staff management is desired•Excellent product knowledge, customer service skills, administrative skills, and organizational skills are necessary to manage inventory effectively•1-2 years of related experience in auto sales needed
